History
Rei is half Xaela and half Veena. Her mother is from the Skatay Range, having left her clan in search of adventure. Her father has a son from a previous relationship and is Rei’s half brother. Rei’s family created a mercenary group, going on several adventures before Rei was born. Unfortunately, with the conquest of Werlyt, her family was forced to escape to Eorzea - losing Rei’s mother in the process. With her father, uncle, and brother she settled in Limsa where her father and uncle continued their mercenary work. Until one day her uncle returned without her father, as he had passed away while on a job, but returned with an unknown Auri boy with no memory named Kai.Rei was known to perform odd jobs for the merchants in Limsa and after working for a member of the Marauder’s Guild, she began to receive training as a Marauder. Through these odd jobs she met a Viera runaway named Koa, who also began living at the Khani residence. Alongside Kai and Koa, Rei got into many adventures around La Noscea.Once she became of age, Rei decided to become an adventurer just like her uncle. Rei has had many adventures, visiting as far as Kugane, Thavnair, and Garlemald.Rei co-owns Moogleritaville alongside Koa, who typically runs the day-to-day business as he resides near the bar in Limsa. The bar is the former Khani residence, refitted to serve as the central hub for the 'Khani crew'. Members of the crew are constantly in and out of the bar, with Koa primarily staying around. Rei can occasionally be found here.As of late, Rei has mostly been in Eorzea only taking a few contracts from her brother.
